Almer, 12yrs old a resident of Cala-Cala Barangay Macasandig celebrated his Christmas Eve in the evacuation center  after their barangay was wiped out by the bagyong sendong (international name WASHI). It was not a normal Christmas for Almer because he lost her 6yrs old sister during the flood. the last words of her little sister who was with him all trough out the night floating and drifting in the flood, was "kuya kapoy naku" "im so tired" and suddenly a big wave hit the two kids. resulting for the two to be separated. he tried to look for her little sister but he wasn't able to find her. His telling himself its better to sleep and die because he has no companion  at all and he cant find her little sister who don't know how to swim or maybe of losing hope... it was morning of december 18 when the rescuers saw him along the macajalar bay in el salvador misamis oriental. He even told me and my companion MaryAnn Zamora, that he was screaming all night "lord tabang...tabang" pero lord didnt reply daw...but Almer  survived the tragedy...GOD SAVED HIM iBelieved....Lets pray for more survivors.. lets hold on to our God our savior.
